Thomas Etherington founded Afford A Host in 2004, with the belief that many companies over-charge for their web services. It was launched early 2005, immediately meeting the aim of providing affordable services without compromising on quality. The company was then taken over by David Williams as part of the DJBW Network in January 2006.
